NDIS Program

NDIS Program

NDIS

Our NDIS Program provides a unique work environment where participants can develop a wide range of work skills while interacting with dogs. This program offers hands-on experience in training, care, and handling of dogs, allowing individuals with disabilities to gain valuable skills in a supportive, inclusive setting.

Participants will receive personalised guidance as they learn tasks related to dog training, behaviour management, and customer service, empowering them to build confidence, work experience, and independence. Through this program, we aim to provide meaningful opportunities for personal growth while making a positive impact on both participants and the community.

Participants can choose from a large range of animal based work/life skills. These range from Grooming to Medical checks to Training.

Our facility hosts both farm animals and dogs for our education programs.

One to one sessions where programs are created upon assessment of the participant and also in communication with parents, carers and other health professionals.
Goals on NDIS or IEP plans can be worked towards.

Participants will work with Daniel - an NDIS experienced support worker at the Dog Education Centre based in West Wodonga with the friendly farm animals and select dogs to help gain important life skills.

We can work on therapy that has been advised by OT's, Physio's and other professionals / Outdoor Play Based Learning / Social Skills with Animal Therapy
